The winter snows in the Miami Valley have melted away, trees are starting to bud, grass is turning green, and the temperatures are showing a warming trend.  Triumph season can’t be far behind!

We are now inside of 90 days until the start of TRA 2004.  It will be here before you know it!  The Springfield, Ohio location chosen for this year’s event is rich with attractions and activities for your enjoyment, in addition to the normal TRA festivities.   Check below or at  www.miamivalleytriumphs.org  for registration forms, event schedules, and the latest activity updates.

Registrations are rolling in, hotel rooms are filling up, and we’re seeing a dwindling supply of TRA 30th Anniversary wall clocks for the first 75 registered cars.  Don’t wait to mail in your registration if you want one of these awesome clocks for your home, office, or garage!

Registrations will be accepted through the last day of the event, but for registrations received after May 1 we will not be able to guarantee the availability of your TRA 2004 shirt order.   Shirts will be ordered from the printer in early May, based upon registrations received to date, plus a very few more.   To be assured of getting the shirts you want, please have your registration to us before May 1st.

This year’s event has been expanded to 3 full days, beginning with the first of two early morning breakfast runs on Thursday Morning.  Industry experts will host a tech session each day on panel beating, chrome plating and polishing, and cylinder head modifications for use with unleaded gas.   Friday’s Participant’s Choice car show is open to all Triumphs, with classes and awards for TR2, TR3, TR3A/B, TR4/4A, TR250/5/6, TR7/8, Spitfire/GT6, and "Other" Triumphs.  Owners of TR2-4A models may choose to submit their cars for Concours judging.   In addition to both escorted and self-guided tours to local attractions, Saturday’s Rally will include a "London to Brighton" segment that you won’t want to miss!

Considering that 2004 marks the 30th Anniversary of the Triumph Register of America National Meeting, the members of the Miami Valley Triumphs are working especially hard to create a fun-filled event that every Triumph enthusiast will enjoy to the fullest.   If you’ve never been to a TRA national, or if it’s been awhile since you did, 2004 is the year you should choose to attend.  Even those who come to TRA every year are going to be amazed by the quality of this year’s meet!

See you in Springfield!

The Miami Valley Triumphs of Dayton, Ohio are pleased to announce that we will be hosting the 2004 TRA National Meeting in Springfield, Ohio on June 24-26 (Thursday morning through Saturday night).  Many driving tours, visits to local attractions, and activities are planned for each day of the event, so arrive early and enjoy all the fun and excitement that we have planned for TRA's 30th Anniversary celebration!

The host hotel and center of all TRA activities will be the Holiday Inn (Holidome) Springfield South, located at I-70 (exit 54) and St. Rt. 72.  Overflow rooms are available at the Hampton Inn, located at the same exit and ½ mile west of the Holiday Inn.  Please make your reservations directly with either hotel and mention that you will be attending TRA to receive the rates shown below (+ tax).  Camping is available in the vicinity, and this information will be made available in the near future.

Holiday Inn Springfield South ($80)                          Hampton Inn ($71 per night)

We think that everyone who attends this event will agree that it is an ideal location due to its rural proximity and city amenities.  Country roads with minimal traffic for scenic drives and tours can be found a short ½ mile and one traffic light away from the Holiday Inn.  Despite this seemingly rural location, you'll find over 26 restaurants in the immediate area, and enough local attractions, tours, and unique shopping to suit any taste.
